Just want to let any forum members in the Chicago area know that I will be in town this weekend, with a workshop and also a performance scheduled for
this Sunday.
The workshop is at 2pm this Sunday (4/29) at the Old Town School of Folk Music. You can find more info here:
That same evening, starting at 7:30pm, I'll be performing at Taxim Restaurant, which has really great food. The repertoire will be mostly Greek
traditional music, with some Turkish songs and originals thrown in the mix. Here is a link with more details (reservations recommended):
