Discounted oud prices - to raise funds for new album!
Hi everyone,
I'll soon be launching a separate fundraising campaign for a new album project of all original material that I will be recording this month with a
really great bunch of musicians.
To help raise funds to go towards the cost of studio time, musicians' fees, duplication fees, etc, I'm offering two ouds for sale at very low prices
for forum members.
Each can be had for $700 (including gig bag and set of strings). This price is only for forum members, so please mention this posting when contacting
me.
Videos are listed below. These are really great prices, and will go a long way in helping me tackle the crazy mountain of expenses coming my way very
soon.
I'm happy to answer any questions (via email please), and videos of each oud are listed below:
Turkish Wenge oud w/ Extended fingerboard: http://youtu.be/-Wm-utGupH8
Tunisian Beechwood/Mahogany oud w/ short fingerboard (#1): http://youtu.be/ClKXCO43xB4
Thanks guys!
Please email me if you are interested in either of these very nice instruments.
Sincerely,
mavrothi

Hi everyone!
These ouds are still available, and if you purchase one you are not just buying an oud, but helping support a new band and new album get their
start!
Check this link out for more information about my new band, and how we're reaching out to help get our album made:

Hi there,
Just wanted to let you know that the Turkish Wenge oud is no longer available.
The Tunisian oud is still for sale, and is sounding as great as ever!
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Mavrothi

Been thinking about skipping your mortgage payment to get the “Oud Dude” perk package in our album campaign, but not sure what kinds of ouds are
available?
Or maybe just considering buying an oud straight up for just $700?
I’ve posted a video using the Tunisian oud I have for sale, where I use it to perform a challenging piece called KANATLARIM OLSA IDI written by Udi
Sherif Muhiddin Targan (Haydar), one of the first experimental/virtuosic oud composers in history, if not the first.
Tunisian Oud Video - Kanatlarim Olsa Idi
Ear to the Sky Indiegogo Campaign
Though we won’t be recording this kind of music on the album, I thought you might want to hear some of the wild stuff you can do on this great
oud.
Enjoy, and thanks to everyone who has already pitched in!
And remember, please pass the word on to your friends on Facebook and Twitter as well old-fashioned email so we can get closer to our goal! We still
have a long way to go!
THANK YOU!

Hi everyone,
Looks like the last Tunisian oud has sold.
Thanks to everybody!
I don't know when or if I'll be importing more ouds, but I hope that everyone who has purchased from me is very happy with their instruments.
It has certainly been a pleasure meeting new players along the way.
Of course, if new instruments come in, I'll be sure to post here to let you know.
Thanks again,
Mavrothi
