Yes dear !
Wissam Mutlaq is a talented youngster, raised in a musical family. His father Dr. Diab Mutlaq (senior cardiologist) used to be a famous singer and oud
player in the 1970's, who performed in local parties in Haifa & Nazareth. As much as I recall, Simon Shaheen used to accompany him with his
violin. His successful career in medicine took him away from music, but he was and still is a gifted musician who occasionally would go on stage in
private parties and remind the public of his talent.
Wissam grew up in this environment and was taught by his father and others the secrets of the oud, which he seems to have absorbed.
Yours indeed

Are there any recordings of Dr. Diab in his heyday? I've heard some recent recordings of him when he was older and enjoyed them quite a bit. I can
only imagine what he must've sounded like at his peak.
