balanced soundboard

We have read many threads about well balanced soundboards, many theories but every luthier has his own secrets and recipies.
I would like to discuss with some people who have built ouds and have an opinion about it.Well my theory is that we must create a proportion of frequencies in which some "magical" numbers are hidden. And i explain it, simply that behind the Febonacci theory there are some numbers which hide some balance .Many amphitreaters and ancient bulidings are based on this φ ('phi') number.
This is one theory. The other theory say that in ear the odd numbers are 3,5,7,.. and the normal 2,4,6,...So the proportion of frequencies must have this numbers.
My question is how luthiers try to achieve this combination of the frequencies for a well balanced soundboard....
