Naseer Shamma on my New Cedar top Oud
Hi everyone,
I was waiting for this day.. the day my Oud falls into Naseer Shamma's hands and he actually plays it in his concerts..
13 days after receiving his 3 new ouds.. He plays the Cedar top oud at the new year's concert in Cairo.. He was very happy with the instrument.
I loved the piece.. I hope you like it and like the new oud..

Congratulations Alioud! It is an extremely important achievement for a luthier -in general- to have one of his or her instruments played by a master
musician in a concert. When the master musician is Naseer Shamma, this feat is folded
I congratulate you for your big accomplishment.

I would try, but I don't think I could find proper words to thank you for your appraisal.
To be honest, for Mr. Shamma to play my instruments is something, and for a Master Luthier acknowledged around the world for his craftsmanship to
congratulate me is an achievement that is 10 times the original achievement.
I hope I will always walk your steps in bringing science to the oud making art and I admit, that reading your articles which are scattered everywhere
taught me alot, particularly when it comes to soundboard thickness and the loss of harmonics below 1.5 mm... that fact by itself is worth a trip to
Istanbul just to meet you and kiss your head.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by and taking the time to write your kind words.

the first peace is very nice and the oud is heard clearly..
I wonder if there was a samaii or a lounga in the concert..
