Both Players sound great, the ouds sound great, and they look great. I love the look of the maple one especially.

Yeah, wot 'e said.

Interesting that even though it is a floating bridge oud it still has a classic Turkish ud sound... (or should that be a Turkish classic oud sound?)...to me anyway, it doesn't seem to have that open ringing sustain that my Iraqi floating bridge ouds have... Something to do with bracing &/or soundboard thickness perhaps?

I meant no offence Master Veysel, I love your instruments and your creativity and dedication, I merely wondered about the sound. I was hoping for some particular reason for it as I wish to build a floating bridge oud myself and the only ones I have to go on all sound different.

Sincerely, S
