Hello,
now last sunday we had here the above mentioned concert. And I must say it was phantastic. In spite they were only two - Mohammed Abozekry and
Guillaume Hogan - as unfortunally the percussionist, David Bruley, was ill and could not come. But anyway I must say, that everybodý who could not
come ( I know it's far off for most of you ) missed something. But you should keep theese names in mind, and visit their concert if thy're comming to
your region.
This may be the case, as they are planning a tour next year after the release of their first CD. They will make the tour as a quartet, having
additionally a doubble bass player with them. I will inform you here about this tour, which they will probably start here in my town as I hope.
They played a wonderful and perfect mixture of different music styles combined with jazz. Guillaume Hogan has studied jazz-guitar. May be I can
publish a short video of this concert, which I partly did a record of. But first find here some pictures.
Best regards
Matthias
