Oud Teachers in Boston area?
Hi,
I just moved to the Boston area, and I'm interested in learning oud. I don't own an instrument yet (I was hoping to get the input of a teacher on
what kind I should get). Does anyone know of teachers in Boston? I'm willing to drive a bit if necessary to take lessons. Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Peter Kyvelos is an oud maker in Belmont, MA, and can probably recommend some oud teachers in the area. You can find his contact info here: Oud Cafe
Take care,

This is an A1, super solid, excellent recommendation -- nobody in this area knows more oud players than Peter, and he's a very cool guy. Do call him
MelloMel85, or stop in at the shop !

I agree, he is a good friend of mine and I have one of his masterfully constructed oud...he will definitely help steer you in the right direction.
