Take a look
Hello,
Is this oud http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=623&... worth the price?
Any idea of who the maker could be and expected sound quality?
The inlay work is nice for the most part, but there are some areas in the back where the patterns do not match up.
Thanks,
Elie

In one of the pics the action seemed a little high and the seller told me it was just under a 1/4 inch. Interestng enough is that it looks similar to
a couple ouds that were being sold for 800 dollars and up on mikes ouds and ebay.
My question is this design specific to one maker or has this look been shared among luthiers.

Hi,
1/4'' is really high action. If it's under 1/8'' where the neck meets the body, it's ok.
It looks real pretty though.
Take care,
mav

Apology
Hello Dear Mavrothis,
Thank you for your warning. I read your message once more. Indeed your words are quite objective. Please forgive my misinterpretation.
