oud-a-palooza in the bay area
well, there were only four of us, myself, Fernand Raynaud, John Ehrlich and Michael, but it was fun. Lots of good food, and abundance of different
rishas to try out, and a chance to smell the famous oud adani, which has an nice coffee aroma these days. Here's my bad phone picture of all our ouds
relaxing on the couch.

Hey Guys,
Nice to hang out with you! What a dinner feast!
Thanks for posting the photo, Tom! Note that the ouds outnumbered oudist 2 to 1.
Next time, let's really "mobilize the troops," so that I can shake my oud inferiority complex with respect to Southern California!
All the best,
John

Yes, very nice to meet you all.
Also note that we didn't feel compelled to take pictures of the actual people at the gathering. When I thought about it, I decided that was pretty
strange. Next time don't forget to brush your hair and wear something nice!
Cheers

Parev Paul,
Yes, I did post. I wanted to try to organize using only the Forum. Clearly, we'll have to use a phone tree and/or mass emailing next time.
Over and out,
John
