Ouds in Oman... where?
My band's Joza player is going to Oman soon to play some concerts with Naseer Shamma, the lucky b... so I got to thinking...
Does anyone know of anywhere to get ouds there?
(I did a search but couldn't find anything)

Unfortunately, Oman is not the place to look for ouds in, unless you're seeking a good looking commercial oud that sounds like any stringed drawer . I
may be wrong, but I've never heard of, nor heard an oud related, in this way or another, to Oman !
Being in the gulf anyway, it worth a drop in in Ahmad Maker's أحمد
عبدالجليل &/or Abdallah Alshatti's عبدالله
الشطي luthiery in Kuwait !
