Oud Heaven -Can you spell "WOW"? :-)
Dear friends,
I just arrived in Cairo. The first thing I did was stopping at our dear friend Maurice's shop.
To make a long story short, Maurice had a few impressive pieces of art. Some were special ideas that he started last year.
Pefrection? Maybe !!!
Fine art? absolutely!!!!
Between the amazing improvisations by the talented Islam El Qasabgy and Professor Atef Abdel Hameed, I thought I died and went to OUD HEAVEN!!!!
The only regret I have is: I did not have my camera on me.
Next week, I will pay Maurice another visit. I promise to share some pics and clips.

Hello lucky Hatem.
We're waiting for videos and pictures, for sure.
May be by Atef Abdel Hameed you'll see a fine oud , like Roman Punka's one, by Essam El Wasery.....I tried to buy one , which went first from prof.
Atef Abdel Hameed.....but never got anything else that a bad range one I received broken....( but you know the story! ).
