PVF
Hi Friends
I have found that what works really nicely for me is PVF for the second course, and regular nylon for the first course. . . . because the second
course always seems the weakest string, this PVF on the 2nd tends to balance out the set.
does anyone know where you can buy a whole coil of 0.024 PVF?
AND.... does PVF basically last forever, meaning - you know the oud's wound strings only sound good when freshly made (they definitely have an
expiry date). . . but I would guess the PVF being a non-biodegradable material probably would last forever and sound good for years after sitting on
the shelf.
Therefore why not buy a whole coil at once?
THANKS!
