Anouar Brahem - Astrakan Café
hello,
I'm new to the forum, and glad to find people to share a bit about this subject, I will perhaps feel less alone. I am French, I play guitar and oud.
Since there is little material music for oud, my first post is for you to share a transcript that I made this week. I wanted to write the score of

français, je joue de la guitare et un peu de oud. Étant donné qu'il existe peu de matériel concernant la musique pour oud, mon premier post est

Hi.
I am in a similar situation to you, i live in New Zealand and play the oud and the nay. There are not many people who play this music in N.Z at all. I
have met some percussionists, (riqq, darrabukka, bendir), an Egyptian singer and a Iranian setar player. No other good oud players though or nay
players.
I also really like Anouar's music, very meditative and contemplative. His new album is awesome!
