when in Amsterdam
Thought I'd share this find with the forum. If you haven't been to Palm Guitars, I highly recommend it, if you are a stringed-instrument enthusiast.
Owned by a wonderful man named Soren, the place is an amazing museum of all sorts of world instruments, including some ouds, depending on what he has
in stock at the time. http://www.palmguitars.nl/
I include here one image, just to give you an idea of the scope of his offerings.

Hmmmmm!
Thanks Jack, what an interesting place. Next month I'm off to Paris for a few weeks. I think a side trip to Amsterdam is going to be a must.

Greg

Greg, if you're going to make that kind of long distance trip to see the place, you might want to contact Soren beforehand, to make sure when he'll be
open, as he doesn't keep bankers hours, as they say. I believe he is open most days after 12:00 noon, but I'd inquire so you're not let down.

Thanks Jack.
520 km is a Sunday afternoon drive in my country
I will certainly contact Soren before making the trip. We have a lot of fond memories of Amsterdam, so we would probably have gone there anyway.
Regards,
Greg
