are you shure it is a model 1? This model usually did not have a extended fingerboard.
It looks more lika a 7 or 8
Can you post a pic of the bowl?

Yes it is model 1 according to the certificate inside the oud

This looks genuine to me. I'm not convinced that Sukar is all that consistent with his labeling and model numbers.
Every detail of this oud is consistent with Sukar ouds. If it's a fake, then they went to considerable trouble to make a convincing one.
That said, I wouldn't buy any oud I couldn't see in person if I had any doubts about its legitimacy.
