Jaffa Road is releasing a new CD this weekend. Where the light gets in has plenty of oud in a traditional, fusion, jazz, pop folktronica setting.
Yair Dalal joins the band as guest artist on violin, so does Amir Amiri on Santoor, and Aaron Bensoussan on Arabic vocals.
Very positive reviews of the album have been coming in and I hope many of you will check it out.

(users of this forum should note that track 3 is a reinterpritation of a very old Turkish-Ladino song, track 4 is an oud taqsim, and track five is a
Yair Dalal composition. Track 6 is a straight out pop tune but with lots of oud input. etc. etc. ) let me know what you think.
