I'm watching The Wrecking Crew, and in the background of one shot is what must be an oud with rounded back, and what looks like a Spanish guitar
head.
Does that sound possible?
I love my (cheap) oud, but tuning it really puts me off. And as for restringing it: I've had the oud two years, and although I bought a set of strings
when I bought the instrument, I have yet to pluck up the courage to apply them.
