Ara Dinkjian on the radio tonight
Hi folks
I was fortunate enough to see Ara Dinkjian Quartet at the Southbank, London last Sunday evening - wonderful gig, fantastic musicians and fantastic
interplay between them (particularly Ara and Sinopoulos on lyra). I know he has been around this week but couldn't make any talks etc because of
work.
They are in session tonight on radio 3 recorded from the 19th November, World on 3, at 11 pm. You can listen after this online here ...

if you haven't seen them, there are three (so far) high res. films on youtube of ara playing with his 'secret trio' - a configuration that plays
out in nyc.

i recently received the oud that tasos just made for me - i see you saw the post on youtube...it is light as a feather with an exquisite tone - by far
the closest i have heard to the melancholy voice of a manol in a new instrument ...i know you also love tasos' ouds...

Hi there
I love your clip - my oud is on his website as the 'blonde model' 
I should put some more stuff up there as I think I sound more like an oud player now, those clips of mine are ok but a bit stiff - much more natural
now.
I still love that oud of mine - just playing it now
