Hey guys, I am new to the oud forum, But I love the sound of oud and would like to learn it, I have two questions, Is there any oud teachers in Ottawa and secondly, any idea which type of oud is this one, at the beginning of this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRlE5ajj4gQ
Also where could i buy a good used oud of the similar sound, in ottawa or online. I do not want to spend lots of money especially that I am still a beginner. Thank you

You'll find good advices in " Looking for your first oud ? "
The oud in the video is a floating bridge oud, I personally prefer the sound of fixed bridge ouds.
You'll find more fixed than floating bridge oud in the market.
More experienced oudist will tell you more on the difference between them and where to find an oud in Canada.
It's better to see and try an oud before buying it, even if you don't know how to play, just listen to the sound and feel.
