sad news again: Ammar el sherei passed away
we just lost a great egyptian luthier, fathy ameen few month ago. i noticed that we also lost a great Egyptian oud player, Ammar el Sherei 5 days ago.

Incredible musician... I really liked him. May he rest in peace.. By the way, I use to have an album of his where he played Oud and it was only
Fairuz instrumentals, does anyone know where I can retreive those songs? The Oud sounded extremely beautiful.
