Hamza El Din

In the latter age of cassette tapes( 1990's), some great music was circulating on the island I was living on, though no names were attached to them.

I have recently found out that the great music was by

Hamza El Din

I wonder about his tunings ( espc. on Assaramessuga). Any direction to look would be most appreciated....thanks.

Rootsguitar, Hamza used a standard Egyptian tuning, from lowest to highest, D-G-A-D-G-C. However, he sometimes stepped this down by one or two notes, as you can hear on his recordings.
