Is Saad Al-Tayyar still making ouds?
A few years back some photos of wonderful ouds built by the Canada-based Iraqi luthier Saad Al-Tayyar were posted. I would like to add a link to this
oud maker to my website, but I can't find much information about him online. Is he still making ouds? Hopefully Samir can provide us with an update,
as I see he interviewed him for his blog in 2010.

I spoke with him on the phone about 8 months ago about putting a new face on one of my ouds. He is still making ouds as far as i know but only makes
very few. He told me that he had 3 ouds for sale when i spoke with him. I'll have to find his contact info and get back to you.

I haven't gotten many news from him since he moved back to Montreal.
