Incredible Modulation


This is an incredible modulation (Kurdi, 1927).:applause:
Haven't heard anything quite this radical recently.

I think I know what he is doing...
Any ideas?

To me it sounds like maqam Dugah (mix of Zirgulah Hijaz and Saba) on nawa (relative pitch) above maqam Kurdi and resolves back to Kurdi.

Very effective and dramatic anyway!
