Lebanese oud - 60 yrs old wood
Hi all,
Offering this oud made by the Lebanese oud maker Rabih Hadad (in 2005). It plays and sounds great.
Inside label says the oud was made with 60 years old wood (Vetrana; not sure what wood type that is though). The bowl dimensions are: 33 cm (width),
51 cm (length) and ~18 cm depth. The string length is 60 cm, with a 20 cm fingerboard.
The oud also has a sound pickup installed. This is a 6-course oud (though currently played as 5 course).
Keep in mind the strings are quite old, I imagine it will sound even greater with a decent set of strings.
Asking price is 485 $US (+S&H). The cost of S&H ranges between 245 and 330 $US (depending on your location and the type of shipping service
requested; door-to-door vs airport/cargo shipping).
A free velvet-padded case (a 70+ $US value) is also included.

Nice warm sweet sound (nice playing) - could be a bargain for someone from what I can hear.
