Interesting take on Longa Nahawand

Not the most "soulful" performance of the tune but interesting use of thumb position and a good display of what can be accomplished with very precise technique.

Yeah, I didn't really like but I was really impressed..... sort of "I'm doing it this way cause I can and you can't"

I'm more than a little jealous

He has great technique, but, honestly, I think the sound is pretty typical of what I've heard from immature "prodigies." Just to be sure it wasn't just this one recording, I listened to one other on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHcGHio47nw (also flashy, with little emotional). Hopefully, he is capable of playing with more emotional depth, and this will emerge as he matures...

I doubt it, he wouldn't be the first Turkish player I've seen play in that manner and at that speed.

Impressive technique!
by the way; he is not turkish, he is Tunisian, some songs he plays with his brother (on violin) are just ... wow, for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDC-BBOvuKU
