A luthier carved 15 new cocobolo pegs for my renaissance lute. These replaced the ebony pegs that this EMS lute came with. They are fitted much more
precisely. I didn't realize how much better the pegs could work till now.
This inspired a new tuning:
Lute is tuned: C#-Aa#-Cc#-F#-Cc#- Ee-C#-C#
and a new piece recorded with a viola
Viola is tuned: C#-F#-C#-F#
