Darbuka Loops Packs
Hello,
Here it is a link I've just found:
http://www.logic-users-group.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3482&s... 22
splurgo -> "Hi we have two sets of Darbuka Loops. Both sample packs contain authentic rhythms.
Darbuka Loops Pack 1 is all 4/4 timing and contain rhythms as: maqsuum, baladii, sayyidii, waahida and sombati
Darbuka Loops Pack 2 is all 3/4 and 6/8 timing and contains the following middle eastern rhythms: Abwanii, Daarij, Darj, Ghiita, Hazaj, Khalaas al
awwal, Makhluf, Qantara, Quddaam, Shiishtosh, Tsamiko and Yuruk as-Samaa'ii.
(not sure about the spelling either ).
All files are available in wav and aiff format. Good luck!"
Does anyone have these packs? Does the website http://www.splurgo.com still exist?

Hi David
Your last link does not work. I am "Unauthorized" !
Are you logged before authorization ?
For darbuka loops, 2 free possibilities :
First, 2 albums of Kirlis:
http://www.passionate-music.com/2009/09/mario-kirlis-ritmos-arabes-... . By deposit it is ok.
If somebody is disturbed by this kind of link, i can understand. No problem to delete ...
Second possiblity : http://dubsahara.com/rhythms/downloads/13-moons

Bonjour Sylvain,
Thank you for these useful links!
I think I heard Yuruk as-Samaa'ii on a CD (see attachment) and I'd like to hear it from an other source.
