Marhaba Adel,
I have several collections with Classical Turkish music in Arabic/concert notation. If you have the names of any specific Reşat Aysu
compositions, I would be happy to look for them.
All the best,
John

Ahlan John,
thanks very much for your reply...
Anything by this Genius composer is more than welcome, Samai Muhayer Kurd, samai Nahawand , Ajam Ushayran , Busalik...etc
also he wrote some longa's...
his way of writing music is un familiar ...however very interesting and challenging...
all the best and take care,
Adel

Hello Adel,
Which samai are you searching for ?
Is it the Hijaz kar Kurd ?
I think it's the most famous of Resat Aysu.

If yes I have the partition but I have to scan it to send it to you.
Or maybe the Muhajjer kurdi

Tell me.

Adel & Microber,
I checked my collection of concert-pitch Ottoman/Turkish sheets and didn't find any of Reşat Aysu. Maybe the three of us can pick some pieces to
tranpose and divide them up among us to write out?
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
John

Bravo Robert ... well done.....try to find the Muhayar Kurdi in Normal notation too...
John, its impossible to re write every thing in Normal notation... this composer has written so much that it will take a lot of time to do this job...
and why don't turkish people write in the real key and the real note ????
Their is a site with all resat Aysu work, I will try to post it...
thanks again,
Best wishes,
Adel

I must be honest, Adel and John, I didn't do the transposition.
I have found the partition 'somewhere' on the internet a long time ago. But I can't recall where.
I also have comment on the partition I have sent. The name of the composer is not mentioned. The words on the left side of the partition say
من التراث التركي which means 'From Turkish heritage' or something
like 'Traditional Turkish'.
So I have had the partition during years without knowing who was the composer. I only discover it recently by chance.
And I completely agree with you Adel, he is a very original composer.
Does anyone know more about him ?
Did he play an instrument? Which one ?
Robert

Why do Turkish people dont write in real key and in real note?
In real notation???
Should we also talk in your native language?
Any other requests or wishes?
If you want to play Turkish music, you must know Turkish music. So go learn Turkish notation.
Do I tell you why Arab people still use those strange letters whereas the rest of the world mainly use Latin characters?
Do I tell you that Arab people should use REAL characters?
I will answer your questions.
It is called CULTURE and TRADITIONS and HISTORY.
Some things aren't assimilated yet...
And yes, obviously I am Turkish so I am offended by your crap.

Yslam temmak ya estaz Adel
I know that no one reads my posts but I will post anyway :
If Mr. Salameh is asking for regular notation, it is because he finds it practical for him, so no need to be offended. It is his personal need, and
it does not kill anyone's traditions.
Knowing Turkish notation makes one definitely richer and more cultured. However, before learning new languages and notes, one has to know the basics
of good communication: respect and politeness.
Cheers to all.

Muhayyerkürdi Saz Semaisi - Resat Aysu
I finally transposed the Muhajjerkürdi Saz Semaisi from a Turkish notation I already sent. And I did some little modification after a recording I
have.
I am far to be a champion in solfege but I do my best.
The software I use (Harmony Assistant) plays it correctly.
Any comment welcome.
Robert
