Any Oud/Etnic makers in London
Hi All,
I will be in London on September and would like to meet an Oud maker or Lute maker? (Ethnic instruments making?)
Any Ideas?

Michael Moussa -- http://www.magicstrings.co.uk/index.htm -- is in South Yorkshire, about 166 miles (263 km) from London. According to Google, that would be a 3
3/4 hr. trip from London. Might be worth the trip, though.

If European lute is of any interest to you, you could ask my relative-by-marriage, Jacob Heringman, about luthiers and performances. You can mention

Hi Yaron,
As far as I'm aware there are no professional oud makers in London, but maybe you can contact David and Chaim from LA Guitars? They are fine luthiers
and do repair ouds from time to time.
