Suggest Simple Turkish Songs for Arabic Transposition
Hi Folks,
I want to put out a call for suggestions of (relatively) simple, but compelling Turkish songs that I can transpose to Arabic scores for my "Turkish
Music for Non-Turks" Facebook page. I am especially looking for slightly less well-known songs that may never have been transposed previously.
Here are two good examples of pieces I've transposed already:

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
And thanks for helping me make Turkish music more accessible!
Peace out,
"Udi" John

Aw, c'mon guys! Aren't there any simple Turkish songs you would like me to transpose to Arabic tuning?
For some ideas...
Here is Neyzen's list of Turkish folk song scores: http://www.neyzen.com/ney_turkuler.html
Here is his list of Ilahiler (Nashid) scores: http://www.neyzen.com/ney_ilahiler.html
Thanks,

Sultani Yegah Sirto would be a good one if an Arabic transposition isn't already out there. The Targan Caprice would also be good to do.

Neyzen's scores of Oyun Havasi may also contain some great pieces to transpose.
I have already posted the Sultani Yegah piece you suggest - https://www.facebook.com/#!/turkishmusicfornonturks/photos/a.4110929... (I admit that I was very excited when I found the Arabic score of the full piece, including the 5/8 intro!)
Thanks,
