It's really easy. It's just a screw with a handle. You just unwind it. But the strings will fall off. They are not tied on to the bridge like Oud
strings. Cumbus is so easy to travel with. I took it backpacking for 7 months all through southeast asia. But it's no replacement for your Oud, and
you will miss it....
