Bil Afrah

Hey folks, I just wanted to share this project that I've been involved in, it's a group doing the entire suite from Ziad Rahbani's 'Bil Afrah':

The video clips feature Michel Merhej, who was riq player on the original recording.

Thanks, Jody and everyone.

The other musicians are:

Bridget Robbins, nay
Insia Malik, violin
Marandi Hostetter, violin
Josh Farrar, buzuq,
Zafer Tawil, qanun
Sprocket Royer, bass
Vin Scialla, tabla
Michel Merhej Baklouk, riq

This was a really fun project, and of course it is great music to play.
