3 new ouds in progress


helo everyone!
im working on 3 new ouds and i want to share it with you.
few question-
1. do you have any experiens with pear and apricor bridges?
2. 2 of my ouds are 17.5 cm deep because of some mystake i have done.
i know it better if it 18-19 for the bass.
it 50 cm long and 36 wide. what do you think? can i do somthing?

Pear wood bridges (stained black) are found on surviving European lutes over 300 years old.

Your slightly flattened bowl depth (of about 0.5 cm from a semi circular cross section) will be of no measurable consequence acoustically. No 'corrective' action required. Nice work.

..but then you did the bowl with olive wood?

faggiuols- i dicided not to use the olive for the bowl it realy hard to work with and not very stable' it realy nice for orantments
