Any oud diploma?
Hi,
I'm wondering if there is any institution that gives an actually diploma in oud performance? I'm based in Europe but I'd be interested anywhere near
like Turkey (which might soon well be europe) or Iran

They give oud diplomas at USEK Kaslik, in Lebanon, just north of Beirut. This is under Charbel Rouhana. I studied there.

There's a new study called "world music" in Popakademie in Mannheim/Germany where you can choose oud as main subject. As the name of the study field
and the faculty implies it is not only about oud, but you have also to deal with some stuff that might be not your major interest. Also most of the
lectures are in German which makes it necessary to have some German skills.

In Lyon France, there is the national music school (ENM Villeurbanne), with Marc Loopuyt teaching. You can get a diploma from there.
