Middle Eastern music gatherings, UK
For a lot of traditional music genres there are regular gatherings in the UK, some of which I go to. For klezmer, KlezNorth in Derbyshire and
KlezFest in London; for French bal folk, the Festival des Panards in Yorkshire; for fiddle-based Scandinavian music, the Scandimoot in Lancashire; for
Scottish and English music, quite a few. And lots of similar things for classical music.
Is there anything comparable for Middle Eastern music - preferably multi-instrumental and with complementary stuff on song and dance?

There are the lessons and concerts on one side, but you can also visit the project as a listener and also as a guest.
We have an airport nearby ( Basel/Mulhouse - BSL ) and a bus transfer close to us. So may be the travel to Sulzburg will not be much more than
somewhere in the UK
