Who could this be ???
Hey guys !
I recently got my hands on an (handmade?) oud bowl for a few bucks.
It has no head anymore and several cracks.
I will defo repair/restore the instrument.
While I was investigating the bowl I found a ripped label.
One can see someones eyes and fragments of letters I think.
Is anybody here able to give me a direction to search for more info or even knows who this could be ?
Thanks alot in advance, oh and I know it is some kind of a strange quest !
Best regards
Hibari

That's a Khalife oud, made in Syria. Very typical of his builds.
