Flying bird Question
Hello everyone,
been practicing the piece for a while now , and i think am at a
point where i need to play it with a percussion at the background to fix the mistakes but i can't figure which "iqaa" or rythem this piece is on , the
video of munir bashir i think has some kind of a Indian percussion if am not mistaken , does anyone know the beat's name ?

Hi,
It sounds like this piece is in a pretty straight 2/4 rhythm, so you could probably just use a metronome to work out any timing issues you're
having.
Start out slower and work your way up to performance speed.
Enjoy,
m

i would say mainly fox rythm, as Mavrothis told you
but i feel sometimes you an variate on a malfuf (or named laf) rythm ( count 123 123 12)
isn't it the case on this record for exemple around 0.45 ?

practicing with rythm is great, i made good progression since i took this habit.
Have a good practice

@suz_i_dil thanks for the tip i did try malfuf , i think it actually works , still couldn't get its grasp at higher tempo but it works good in medium
and slow so i just need to practice much more i guess , thanks to all
