Ouds wholesale price

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for some moderately priced Arabic or Turkish ouds for a music school and I'm wondering if any of you have experience with some of the bigger name online vendors like Salamuzik or Arab Instruments.

We'd like to purchase student level and mid level ouds but not of the "tourist" ouds we've all seen that are unplayable.

And we're looking for a vendor willing to sell them at a wholesale price. I've had experience with Cankaya music but their prices have gone up so I want to shop around.

Any tips?

Thanks!

The riqs from Salamuzik are very good. I haven't tried their ouds, but they do seem to carry quality products. I've never heard a plausible Arabic sound from a Turkish maker but I'd expect that their student Turkish ouds would be fine.

For Arabic ouds, I'd suggest you talk to Mike, our kindly forum host, about the MauriceOudShop, for which there is a handy link at the top of the page.

it was this model, though mine has a glossy finish, it looks like the new ones have a matte finish?

It's very nice.

Hello,

I am Veysel from Sala Muzik.

I am happy that someones recommend our products.
Thank you Brian :)

All makers and sellers recommend their products. So that I don't want to say anything about our products.

But there are many customers who bought from us instruments, you can read their reviews.

Please check this link for some reviews about AO-101M oud:

https://www.amazon.com/Turkish-Quality-Mahogany-String-Instrument/dp...

If you want I can share more links to see reviews.

Best regards,

Veysel
