ID for lebanese oud?
Please find attached pictures of my friend's grandfather's oud.
Can someone please Id it? Is the oud worth restoring? Thanks!

From what can be seen of the label there is no indication of the identity of the oud's maker. It was bought from the Beirut music shop of S. Binyamin
(Benjamin), which sold musical instruments and accessories, did repairs (including of radios!), and offered music lessons. If you can take a photo of
the handwritten text on the label (bits of which are showing in the last picture posted) perhaps a date or other useful information may appear.
It's definitely worth having a luthier check the instrument and see how much work needs to be done to restore it. The face, body, neck and other
structural parts seem to be intact, which is promising.
