Fingerboard repair for Sukkar oud
A friend has a Sukkar Oud that sounded great, but he broke the fingerboard. He attempted to repair it by screwing it together.
However the finger board is in a bad shape.
How difficult is it to replace the Finger board on your own?
I would really like to attempt and restore it, but I don't want to mess this Oud up.

I had a new fingerboard put on my sukar just a few months ago, to fix the action on mine.
It is beautiful and sounds amazing. If you lived near Toronto, I would recommend my luthier Riza who is fantastically precise:
