the hardest piece I can play so far

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g7-LWEdiZ0

I've been teaching myself this Longa in Nahawand by Salam Bin Ali Al-Maqrashi which I heard from Muscat Oud Festival and the first minute is probably the most difficult stuff I can play so far!

I've still got the rest of the piece to learn by looping sections with my recording and figuring out the notes by playing along.

I love this composition though!

really beautiful stuff man!
Really like the tune and you play it great!
Once you finish this one off, here is maybe one to try next maybe if you like this style...this totally for some reason reminded me of Joseph Tawadros 'Love' from The Prophet starting at 3:34 mark onwards..check it out! The style i mean...beautiful...

The style reminds me of the longa jazz, for Alfred Jamil. Did you know this piece ? I think you may enjoy it too
