Sam Ouds - welcome to the world of the Egyptian Oud (updated with Tawfiq Nahat model 1931 and other Ouds on 23th of Jan)
Hello guys,
I will finally publish my brand name for selling Ouds in this post ( Sam Ouds for the Egyptian Oud manufacturing) and I would post all of the new Oud
arrivals in this post frequently . So stay tuned!

levels from beginner to proffesional player. One of our main goals is to recreate the sound of the great masters of the past like Abdel Aziz Al
Leithy, Gauhary, Ahmed mohamed and their followers. Our aim is to provide the above at an affordable price accessible to most budgets"

This Oud is fully made of palisander ( bowl, fingerboard ,rosette , neck and pegbox) . the soundboard is made of aged piano top ( Swedish pine )
inlaid with a unique Palisander/Maple circle design around the rosette , Palisander wood is one of the value tone woods in Oud industry , which makes
it an expensive tone wood . The price for this oud is 400$ including free gig bag + free shipping hard case ( ask me for shipping price ) . and
this is considered as an affordable price for a palisander Oud, this oud is smaller in size , it fits younger Oud player or female Oud players .

A new Oud made with African Mahogany Kosipo wood. one of the most beautiful Mahogany species, Mahogany wood is actually one of my favourite Oud tone
wood that usually gives smooth and crisp sound. This Oud is a classic Arabic model Oud with some classic inlays and ornaments that takes you back to
the 60's where Arabic Ouds were perfectly made with unique ornaments or mosaic . The top is aged Swedish pine wood which is the favourite wood for
most of the Egyptian Oud lutheirs in Egypt since long time ago .

They just opened shipping to Canada and some countries like one month ago , and it charges between 120$ to 130$ to ship an Oud to Canada via the EMS
shipping company , and it takes 10 - 15 business days to arrive . By DHL it takes 3-5 business days but its way expensive .

This Oud is a replica of the Abdulaziz Al Lithy Oud which was owned by the Egyptian Oud virtuoso Mohammad Al Asabgy . This classic design for Egyptian
Ouds is no more made after the 70's if not the 60's! And now we got it back to life as we try to keep the real traditional identity for Egyptian Ouds

This Oud sounds really loud and has long distance tone echo , very good string action and perfect playability , simple design and high quality
material .
The bowl of the Oud is made of a rare exotic mahogany specie ( Yellow Mahogany ) with Syrian aged walnut made the same size Fathy Amin used to make
his bowls. The Soundboard is darkened Sitka spruce ( bookmatched grade AA ) inlaid with palisander hole circles with made-up bone Rossett , the
fingerboard is palisander as well and the pegs are ebony .

" Al Asabgy Model Paduk Oud "
As this design is our costumers favourite model , we made it again with African Paduk bowl and fine quality Swedish pine wood ( Egyptian Oud masters
favourite choice ) , the bowl this time looks a bit like a Nahat bowl shape which gives this Oud a unique mixture between very old Egyptian Oud
designs and the Syrian Nahat family's bowl shape. This Oud sounds really great and i like its sound, even thought i am using a local strings set to be
expecting lower results, but after all the Oud sounds great and would sound much better with a better quality strings.
