The way I string ouds is I use generic classical guitar strings for all gauges, except for the "wound G" (or DUGAH) string. The 3rd string which is
0.024w - very thin wound.
I have run out of those strings and am getting desperate to find some. No way I will pay $3 each from LaBella! Previously I always bought the generic
DUGAH strings readily available in Istanbul - they are less than $1 each over there... and I want to buy about 100 pieces.
My question is if anyone knows where to find DUGAH strings in BULK like this? Large quantities for cheap?
...or will anyone from here be going to Istanbul soon - I would be happy to send you the money to buy me some...
