New member! (Hello!)
Hi all!
I’m Kay. I’m from Ontario, Canada.
Just today I picked up an Oud (pretty sure it’s a Turkish one) at a local Value Village (thrift store) because I thought it was a European lute.
It’s made by Çankaya Müzikevi. I’ve included a photo of it!
I come from a background of playing violin and cello.
I’m pretty determined to learn to play this instrument now, and have already tuned it.
(I hope I posted this in the right place!)
