What is Ara's tuning in this clip?
Hi folks,
I have read in multiple threads here that Ara Dinkjian uses EABead for tuning on his ouds. In this performance of "Picture", it sounds like his tuning
is higher than EABead (assuming A=440 Hz):

Can someone please clarify the case of his tuning in this clip?
Thank you

It's a step lower, seems like he is using Adgc' for the top four courses, not sure about the tuning of the lowest two courses. DGAdgc' maybe.

I've spoken to Ara about tunings and he primarily uses the old Armenian/Greek/Turkish tunings:
DGAdgc and EABead
This piece is beautiful. The secret trio is such an incredible group.

Thank you for clarifying.
Indeed it is. Ara speaks about his trio in length here if you are interested.
