lamma badda
hi all
question does anyone have the notes for lamma badaa in letters not music cliffs. that would help plus the words and what is mikes version oud tuned
to.
and if it is not a both can someone play it extreamly slow for me or put it on movie for it itiwill bee great if not then i iwll have to figgure it
out . its hard

I am attaching a midi file of Lamma Bada. Your Windows Media player should play it for you. I have notated it in 10/4 time. The rhythm is Samai
Thaqil.
I am hoping the midi will be a useful way to go because you can slow it down and/or print out the sheet music from many midi programs.
I hope the transcription is reasonably close.

Sammy,
There are many music education sites on the net.
Try this one for starters: http://datadragon.com/education/reading/
For the oud you only need to concern yourself with the treble clef. First identify the open string notes on your oud and on the musical staff. Then
you can start playing some basic scales.
Is music education provided at your school? If so, you should try to get involved.
