Ahmed Al Bidaoui
Does anybody have private recordings of the Moroccan singer, songwriter and Oudist Ahmed Al Bidaoui?
I have a few and would not mind posting a Taqsim or two on this site. As a semi pro Oud player I consider Ahmed Al Bidaoui to be the greatset Oud
player of all time. He had the soul, the dexterity and the incredible ideas. If you wish to hear some very unusual compositions by him, try to find
"Ya Ghazalan joumiaat fihi mina Alhousni funounou".
If anybody's interested, I can sell a CD or two of his home stuff. You have never heard anything like that. The closest thing would be the great
Saliba Al Qatrib.
