Does anyone know where I can buy the CD "Ghofran" by Samer Totah online? I'd also like to know if anyone has heard the CD.

I have a copy, Samer had my grandmother bring me back a copy.
I can send you a burned cd or upload it to the forum. I have been meaning to do it but unfortuantley have not find the time.
It is a good CD, very mellow. He uses a jubran oud and a custom furuk turnz arabic oud.
If anyone can help me compress and upload tracks I would appreciate it.

I visited Ramallah in 2000, but don't expect to be going again for a while. How would you feel about burning me a copy and making a trade? I have a
pretty good CD collection and could copy you something that is unavailable or nearly impossible to find, in order to keep our consciences clear! I
have a CD of solo Iraqi qanoun that I went through way too much trouble to get from an asinine European distributor...
Also, if you have any contact with Mr. Totah, maybe you could suggest to him that he could sell in North America through Maqam.com or Rashid Sales.
Even if that forces him to sell at "wholesale" prices, he would get good publicity from the sales.

I think the esiest thing for samer to do is to have Isa boulos work on dsitribution cince they are very close and isa lives in chicago. I will email
him and tell him a few americans and europeans are interested in his album if he coud work on it.
Im gonna upload the album, I recommend u do the same for everyone to enjoy John if thats cool with you. I hope if people like samer's album and its
available state side that they purchase it to show him support.

I have been in contact with Samer. I have question regarding mailing to Ramallah. In terms of my package actually getting to him, does it make
difference whether I address it to "Ramallah, Palestine" or "Ramallah, West Bank"? (I don't mind of course using "Palestine," I just want to make
sure it gets to him.

{Here is the latest about ordering the Samer Totah CD. From an email I just received. Basically what it says is you guys can send money, preferably
wiring the money, and they can process the order
or if someone is willing to buy multiple copies and sell them off to willing customers they can arrange for that also}

the second option if u believe there is person can have few copies and send
them from USA also it can be possible.
For payment they can send to Samer money back transfer or check. We have no
problem, but better in bank transfer as we make sure we don¹t lost it by
mail.
