Shehata Ouds Delivery
Iam waiting for the arrival of my shehata oud I got through Mike. Since Mike is rather hard to get a hold of now days (for obvious reasons, wich
include sun bathing in Sharm etc.. hehe) I just wanted to ask people that have received a oud from Maurice. How does he ship his ouds. Iam getting a
hard case with mine so I would know what happens in that situation is it just the case?.
Wich company delivers it? Does it get droped on your door steps and left there if your not at home or is there a delivery notice for you to go pick
up. How long did the delivery take.

Hi Samir
I have four ouds made by Maurice.
They were all delivered to me by the company named Aramex.
As for the delivery of oud to you, because I don't live in Canada,
I don't know how to become it,
it was in my post when I was an absence for me the delivery notification.
Aramex took oud delivered to me home to the delivery trader who was cooperating with Aramex and left the delivery notification.
I think that you ordered the oud and the case at the same time,
oud is put in the case and delivered with it packed besides.
It was one week from four days when oud arrived for me.
Yehia of Nyle shop manages for the order and the shipment of Maurice's oud.
If you want to learn the delivery or more, you will only have to ask Yehia.
I think that he answers clearly.
I hope to become your help.

My Shehata's have show up in three days, Cairo-to-Boston via Aramex. US Customs obviously dosen't pay too much attention to these shipments and, of
course, no duty is paid.

Aramex is a jordanian ( I beleive) shipping company with a US hub in New York. But from New York on, they get shipped through domestic carriers like
everyone said.

Samir, if he sent it Aramex you can track it via their website. I live in Dubai and use them all the time, they've never let me down. Hope it arrives

Not yet Khayi.
I making shure of a few details before I have him ship the oud. So there are still a few things to finish on the oud. Like I wanted him to add what is
Called a "Aaraqa" it comes from the word sweat in arabic and its that inlaid peice of wood where your arm comes around to protect the oud from sweat
marks. Assides that it will only be small details.
